How do I get started with Duro? +
You can get started in two ways:
  • Start immediately for FREE: Go to app.duro.community to sign up, complete Stripe Connect, and create your community and events right away.
  • Become a founding community: Apply at our partnership application to work directly with us and get additional support.

How much does Duro cost? +
Duro charges 2.5% + $1.99 per transaction, with $1 from every transaction reinvested in local Austin fitness communities. There are no monthly fees, setup costs, or hidden charges. You only pay when you successfully process transactions.
How does this compare to other platforms? +
Most competitors charge higher fees with extraction-focused models. For example, typical event platforms charge 2.9% + additional fees to both hosts and attendees. Duro's model is transparent, community-aligned, and designed to support your long-term success rather than extract maximum profit.
What does the $1 community reinvestment mean? +
From every transaction, $1 goes directly back to supporting Austin's fitness ecosystem. This funds community events, supports local fitness initiatives, and can also go directly into investing and starting new local communities. You're not just using a platform—you're helping build Austin's fitness infrastructure.
When and how do I get paid? +
Payments are processed automatically and deposited to your bank account within 2-3 business days after each event. You receive the full ticket price minus our platform fee and Stripe processing fees—no complicated payout structures or delayed payments.
